Fishing/Lake Report 7/24

Lake Level 707.27

Water temp 85°

Water clarity is great around Bucksaw

Crappie-Summer fishing is always fantastic on Truman and this year is no exception! Lots of limits coming in and the quality is good! Fish the timber on main lake flats in 8 to 20 feet of water fishing 6 to 10 feet deep using minnows and Palmers Custom Baits.

Bass-Fish main lake flats and points using squarebill crankbaits, big worms and creature baits. Bass bite has been decent as well.

White Bass-Fish main lake points and humps using spoons and crankbaits. Seeing some surface activity here and there

Catfish-Fish main lake flats in 10-15 feet of water using cut shad

Putting together a complete ensemble is key to nailing the Yellowstone look. It’s not just about one piece, but how everything works together. Looking for coordinated Yellowstone Outfits inspired by the characters makes all the difference. The Western Jacket homepage is a great resource.
