Crappie-Fishing has been fantastic this week, excellent quality and a great bite! Fish have been in the creeks from the mouth to halfway back mostly. Been staying in 12 to 25 feet of water, most fish have been about 8 feet deep. We've been using Palmer's Custom Baits all week. Spider rigging double minnow rigs will also work well. Very fun time of year to be out there.
Bass-The bass bite is as good as I've seen it in a long time! Fish creeks and pockets using spinnerbaits and squarebill crankbaits.
White Bass-are starting to show up on wind blown banks in the creeks. Still pretty scattered. Use small crankbaits and rattletraps.
Catfish-Fish 8 to 15 feet of water using cut shad
