Crappie - Spring is here and the fishing is great! Lots of limits coming in and the quality has contiued to be great as well. Fish have been in the creeks, they've been scattered in the water column, some have been as little as 2 feet deep in 12 to 25 feet of water. The best bite has been 8 to 10 feet deep. Jigs and minnows have both been working. Spider rigging double minnow rigs have been working as well. The water temp is around 55 degrees in most places I've been.
Bass - Fish creeks and pockets using spinnerbaits and squarebill crankbaits, we've seen several bass caught this week.
White Bass - Fishwind blown chunk rock banks in the creeks using crankbaits.
Catfish - Fish have been in 10 to 15 feet of water using cut shad.
If you want to get in on the spoonbill this season, we have a few openings left, the season ends the last day of April.
